Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to paid technical analysis training with Infrastructure Observatory, including multi-timeframe chart review sessions, private mentoring series, and group chart clinics.

Eligibility overview

Refunds depend on how early you cancel, whether a deposit was paid, and whether the lesson has already started. Australian Consumer Law rights still apply where services are not provided with due care and skill.

Private chart review (single session)

• Full refund — cancel at least 72 hours before the scheduled start; prepaid fees refunded in full.
• Partial refund (50%) — cancel between 72 and 24 hours before start.
• No refund — cancel within 24 hours of start, or fail to attend (no-show), except where we cancel or we agree exceptional circumstances (illness with notice, severe weather preventing travel to North Sydney).

Three-session review pack

Unused sessions in a pack may be refunded on a pro-rata basis if you cancel the remaining series with at least 72 hours’ notice before the next booked hour. Sessions already delivered are non-refundable.

Private mentoring series

• Before the first mentoring hour: full refund of amounts paid, minus a A$60 administration fee if materials or scheduling work has already begun.
• After one or more hours delivered: refund equals fees paid minus the standard single-hour equivalent for hours delivered (and any administration fee noted on the invoice).

Group chart clinic

• Deposit — a deposit may be required to hold a seat; the invoice states the amount.
• Full refund of clinic fee — cancel at least 7 days before the clinic date.
• Deposit retained — cancel within 7 days; remaining balance (if paid) refunded.
• No refund — no-show on the clinic day.
• If we cancel a clinic, you may choose a full refund or a transfer to the next scheduled clinic.

Rescheduling

Private sessions may be rescheduled once without fee if you give at least 48 hours’ notice. Further reschedules may incur a A$40 fee. Clinics seats may be transferred to another person you nominate with 48 hours’ notice; they are not automatically moved to a later date unless we agree in writing.

Work already started and materials

Once a live session has begun, that session fee is non-refundable. Printed clinic checklists and PDF example packs already issued are non-refundable. Pre-session questionnaire review does not by itself make a session non-refundable.

Refund method and timing

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval. Bank processing times may add several days.
