Infrastructure Observatory (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal information collected through https://infrastructureobservatory.digital and through session bookings.
What we collect
- Identity and contact details you submit (name, email, phone if provided)
- Message content and lesson preferences from enquiry forms
- Scheduling details for confirmed sessions
- Basic technical logs such as IP address and browser type when you visit the Site
- Cookie preference choice stored in your browser (see our Cookies page)
We do not ask for trading account passwords, government ID numbers, or payment card details through the Site form.
Why we collect it
- To respond to enquiries and schedule multi-timeframe chart review lessons
- To deliver session notes and follow-up emails
- To improve Site reliability and understand aggregate visit patterns (if analytics cookies are accepted)
- To meet legal and accounting obligations
Retention
Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is required for invoices, complaints, or law. Session notes tied to a client engagement are retained for up to seven years for professional record-keeping.
Sharing
We use service providers who host email, scheduling, or website infrastructure. They process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by Australian law or to protect rights and safety.
International transfers
Some providers may store data outside Australia (for example cloud email). Where that occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable protection, including contractual safeguards where appropriate.
Your rights

Children
Our training is aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
