Preparing charts for a North Sydney review session
What to send before you sit down for a live multi-timeframe chart review.
A live review moves faster when the charts arrive with context. This is the preparation list we send before a session at the Walker Street desk or on video.
Symbols and screenshots
Choose two to four instruments you actually trade. For each, send a weekly screenshot, a daily screenshot, and one lower-timeframe image of a recent decision — win or loss. Crop the chrome if you like; keep the date axis visible.
A short paragraph per market
One paragraph is enough: position size habits, typical hold time, and the mistake you most often repeat. “I chase breaks on the five-minute when the daily is still inside a range” is more useful than a list of indicators.
Platform readiness
Have TradingView or your broker charting logged in before we start. If we meet in North Sydney, bring a laptop charger; harbour-side glass and long sessions are a known combination.
What not to prepare
You do not need a polished thesis. Half-formed ideas are better teaching material. We will rebuild them in timeframe order during the session.
